Colocation in Data Centers

Cyxtera is expanding our reach globally by growing our data center footprint allowing companies to innovate and deliver services with confidence, efficiency and speed.

Driven by customer demand, the latest addition to the 50+ Cyxtera data centers is in the Phoenix market. Our Phoenix data center campuses combined now boast over 140,000 square feet of raised floor space and access to 30 MW of power.

Located in the State of Arizona's Research Park, less than 20 minutes from PHX Sky Harbor International Airport and downtown Phoenix. It’s a very attractive market for data centers for many reasons: low power costs, low risk of natural disasters, favorable climate and competitive tax incentives. There is also a vast fiber infrastructure with many providers supplying long-haul connections through Phoenix.

We believe in network density, bringing tier 1 carriers to the facility, attracting cloud on-ramps and cloud direct connects and the latest generation of software-defined WAN providers; to ensure that customers within our facilities who need to get to public cloud are just a few hops away.

Our customers will enjoy on-demand plug-and-play colocation capacity. And as a carrier-neutral provider, the data center offers around 20 carriers and network providers.

Embracing Expansion

Steve Zylstra, president and CEO of the Arizona Tech Council, welcomed our customers and partners during the ribbon cutting ceremony at the new facility.

He described the Phoenix region as a key hub for three important technologies: internet of things, autonomous vehicles and financial technology. It also contains more than 80 incubators, accelerators and co-working spaces.

“Economic prosperity is dependent on our ability as a culture to continuously innovate,” he said.

Take a tour of our Phoenix data center and find out how our secure infrastructure platform can help you increase efficiency and drive growth with only minimal IT resources.
